Just a quick update about stuff we did a couple of weeks ago. We changed the songs on the myspace page, and we moved some songs around and added new ones to our Garage Band page and our Band Mix page. So, go ahead and check 'em out. Goes down smooth.

Here I am once more paying some respect for those who've passed. Even though I was a huge Braves fan back then, and Hrbeck pushed Gant off the base...I digress...Kirby Puckett was a Minnesota icon, and a great player. Much love Kirby, sorry to see ya go so early.

Once again, I'm posting only to pay some respect. One of my favorite actors and comedians ever has passed. R.I.P. and much love, Don Knotts.
I also can't forget to show some love for another couple of guys. R.I.P. Darren "Kolchak" McGavin and Dennis "McCloud" Weaver.

A few new things to tell you all about. First off, Jason and I stayed up too late one night working on another cafepress store. The address is www.cafepress.com. Also, we've uploaded new photos to the myspace.com page. I've also updated the band members page(s) to make 'em a little more current, most notably Jason and Pat's pages. Also, I've put up a bunch of new pictures of us on the pics page. That's all for now. Much love.

Just wanted to let everyone know that you can find our newest stuff on, of all places, our myspace.com page. We've recorded some new songs and new versions of some slightly older ones, so go check them out. The address is www.myspace.com/theshets. They're not great recordings, but try to enjoy nonetheless. Much love.

Seems like I only get to update this page when someone great goes down...RIP and much love Richard Pryor.

This is also way late...I almost forgot about this site, but I just wanted to make sure to put this link up. To help the victims of Hurricane Katrina go to the Red Cross or the Salvation Army to make donations, and I'm sure there's plenty of other places you can give some help that is sorely needed. Much love.

I know this is way late, but I have to say R.I.P. Mitch Hedberg. First Hunter S. Thompson, now this.

Well, just a quick update: IUMA has been crapping out real bad lately. The songs we've got up there are still there, you just can't do anything new because they are constantly working on something, supposedly. Feh. Well, we've also got some songs up on garageband.com at www.garageband.com/artist/shets. Also, our other musical misadventures are on garageband.com now: Cap'n Cow (www.garageband.com/artist/capncow) and FB3 (www.garageband.com/artist/capncow). That'll about do it. Much love.

Well, once again, it has been awhile since I've updated. There's nothing much to report from Shet Camp, but I do have to let everyone know (if they don't already) that MP3.com has undergone changes and no longer hosts our music. As much as this sucks, we still have a place where you can download our music: our IUMA.com page, which is located at shets.iuma.com, just in case. I will be removing all of the old MP3.com links, and replacing them with the IUMA link. It may take a while because the little buggers can be hard to find. That's all from me. Happy Holidays, everyone.

Jesus, it's been a while since I've updated this. Well, I just wanted to let everyone know that we are trying to get the ball rolling again. Also, MP3.com has limited the number of songs you can have on your page (if you don't pay them) so there's only three songs on our MP3.com page, but I'd also like to remind everyone that there are three other songs on our IUMA.com page. So, go listen to all six. There is one called "Number 25" (and if you look back on this update page, you'll see it there) that's ONLY available on the IUMA page. So, there you go. That's all I have to say for now. We love you all. Gregg out.

Thanks to everyone who voted for us on Sexy America's poll. We came in a respectable 2nd place. That's not too bad (if you like being the best loser). Well, that's all for today, thanks to all who voted. Much love.

Our newest song, "I Dig You", has finally been put up on our MP3.com page. So, if you haven't already, go give it a listen. I promise, it won't hurt. Much. Heh. Listen here.

"Stained Glass Windows (Upper Cut)" has made it onto our MP3.com page, so go there now and check it out. Trust me, it's worth it. Also, don't forget to vote for us on SA Online's poll. To vote for us click here. I will be back here soon to let you know when the other song I recently uploaded to our MP3.com page - "I Dig You" - is actually put up. Smootches.

Two things to mention here. First, in case you missed it, we're on SA Online's newest poll for "Who's Your Favorite Indie Artist?". If you haven't voted (hopefully for The Shets...please?), click here and do so now - because we love you. Secondly, I've just uploaded two new songs that will appear on MP3.com page called "I Dig You" and "Stained Glass Windows (Upper Cut)" and they should be available for download sometime in the next week or so. So, keep an eye out.

Okay, just a quick little update. Our new song "Plain as Day (Why Can't I See?)" has finally been put on our MP3.com page and is ready for your listening pleasure. It's really a good song, so take a listen.

I've uploaded a new song to our MP3.com page called "Plain as Day (Why Can't I See?)". If you read this update too soon after I've written it, it might not be on the page yet (songs have to be approved before they're put up), so make sure to keep your eye on our MP3.com page because it will be up soon, and trust me, it's a really great song. That's all for now. Be sure to keep watching this page for more updates, as I will be adding more songs to the MP3.com page over the next few weeks. Thanks.

Just for something to do, I updated the look of the no frames page. If you haven't already looked, do it now. Also, I'll be putting up some new songs on our MP3.com page, so keep an eye out. That's all for now.

We've finished a couple more songs (actually we're pretty much done with the new album) and two are now available on our mp3.com page. They are "Caroline" (formerly a rock/mild techno song done by Gregg) and "Place in Time" and they are both damned good. So listen to 'em already!
12/24/2000
I have moved some songs around now, so you can take a listen of our new song "Oh Yeah" on our MP3.com page. Also, our song "Number 25" is only available on our IUMA page. It was only available on our iCast page, but like I've said before, they died or something. So, now it's on our nifty IUMA page. Enjoy.
12/03/2000
Well, the Shets are back and will be moving swiftly soon to get everything going again, moving all the new material around and updating things. Nothing too new, just letting you all know that we are back, and that our side bands Woe to Vermont and Asshole Gnats are now gone, and all of the new material we were working on with them will be Shet music. Also, apparently iCast.com is gonna go down soon, so the song Number 25, only available on our iCast page, will be moved to be only available on our Iuma.com page. Huzzah!
08/31/2000
I've updated the band members page, so now all of the people that play with us are actually listed. I hope they're all happy. Check it out here. Tasty. Also, I've brought the history page up to date. Take a look here.

We have another new song on our MP3.com page. It is a demo version of the song "Only Know What I Feel" which will be on the new album. It is the first song that we have put online with Jason Payne singing. It's just a demo, so it's just Gregg on guitar and Jason vocalizing, and another version with everyone else will be finished soon enough. For the moment, though, take the time to check it out.
Look for "Only Know What I Feel" on our MP3.com page.

I've uploaded a new song to our MP3.com page. It's called "The Music in Your Head Part 2 (Unbeknownst to the World Above)". Feel free to go check it out by using the link provided below.
Check out the new song

We have a new song, titled "Number 25", exclusively on iCAST.com. If you'd like to give it a listen, then click the link below.

Well, as you can see, we've changed our address. I was just so damned sick of the tripod pop-ups that I had to go to geocities. They may have popups, but at least they don't open in a new window. That's all I care about no more damned pop-ups. Whew. Also, I've changed the format of this page. There is an update that I should've put up a long time ago, as well. I have put up all of the lyrics for both Shets albums. Check it out here. Until next time, I remain...
The man with a thousand hats,
Gregg
