Dan is the driver of the Tom and Fran Chiappelli Motorsports #98
410 Sprint Car. Dan joined with Tom and Fran at the end of the
2005 season. 2007 will be the second full season with Tom and Fran.
2006 was a great season for the team. Along with Dan's first career
410 sprint car win at Lernerville, he placed 2nd the next night at
Port Royal Speedway. Chiappelli Motorsports ran both Williams
Grove and Lernerville Speedway on friday nights and Port Royal on
saturdays. Chiappelli Motorsports earned 7th place in the final Port
Royal season point standings. Dan was given the Sportsmanship award
at the year end banquet. Other highlights for the team was running Pennsylvania Speedweek and competing in the Knoxville Nationalsin Knoxville Iowa.

In 2007, Chiappelli Motorsports looks to call Lernerville Speedway and
Sharon Speedway home for weekend racing. We hope to see you there!

Personal:
Mr. Dan Shetler has independently owned and operated his car and race team since beginning his racing career at age 12. The majority of mechanical, promotional, and public relations duties are an important component of his off track activities. During his vast years of racing experience he has had the occasion to compete at over 50 tracks throughout the U.S. Mr. Shetler's interaction with thepublic and his fans is a high priority demonstrated by his participation in numerous public apperances and fan events.

An integral facet of his career seperate from his on-track performances is his dedication to public service. A highlight of his career was becoming a spokesperson for the National Race against Drugs campaign. Mr. Shetler not only demonstrates his dedication to continuing his racing career and devoting numerous hours providing public service appearances for the PLCB and the National Race Against Drugs campaign while working full-time to support his racing career. Mr Shetler's aspiration is to one day race full-time professionally.
