Twyla is going to be 5 years old in December, 2001. Twyla was shown exclusively by well know professional handler, Jean Tremblay of Halfmoon Cavaliers. In just one weekend in the States with her, he brought her back home as an American Champion. She was out less than 3 weekends for her Canadian Championship.
Twyla has given us some beautiful babes thus far. Sheryane Rutherford Ariel, (a blenheim) who won Open Bitch at our National Specialty in Aylmer this year. Sheryane Rutherford Jamieson (Jamie - see "Our Boys"). Sheryane Rutherford Lady Grace (Jamie's litter sister, also a tri-color) who won over her brother and took Best of Winners at the Caledon Show last year under judge Norm Patton from California. Sheryane Rutherford Alexander (a tri male). Sheryane Rutherford Tina (a blenheim female) owned by and living with Roberta Jones (Rutherford kennels) in NJ. Tina is the spitting image of her grandmom Vivian and will be soon going out to shows in the States with Robbi.
I was able to purchase Twyla from Robbi Jones almost 4 years ago now, and will always be indebted to her for entrusting us with this beautiful girl. It was with the help of Courtney Carter that I learned about Twyla and to her also I owe a world of indebtness.

Gracie is litter sister to our Jamieson. Another sweetheart personality - as are many of the progeny from 'James' Sheeba Special Edition. On her debut weekend, she took Best of Winners over her brother Jamie at the Caledon Show under judge Norm Patton, Chris Hodgkinson handling.
Her favourite place has always been on mom's lap, laying on her back and gazing into your eyes as she gently gives you a playful tap on the cheek with her paw. She has matured into a lovely girl, stealing our hearts and our love. We look forward to getting her out to more shows soon.

Ariel is Twyla's first born. She is full of character and everyone loves her. We almost passed her over, but Jean Tremblay rescued me from making that mistake. I have never been sorry I kept her. Ariel has the 'perfect temperament' always playful, happy and loving. She won Winner's Bitch at Huntsville Show this summer, and at our National in Alymer, PQ ...took her class in Open Blenheim Bitch under judge Norma Inglis (Craigowl - England), Shelly Hodgkinson handling.
Ariel is hardly ever without her ball or her 'dolly' in her mouth, she has a toy fetish. When she had her puppies she would collect half the toy box and bring them back to her whelp box. She never ceases to delight us with her antics. This Spring she gave us three lovely tri puppies and we wish the two girls the best of luck as they begin their show ring careers.
