What is Pet-Sitting? In general, pet-sitting involves the caring and comfort for your pet by a responsible and caring professional while you are away from home. This involves feeding and watering your pets, taking them out on wallk, playing with them, grooming them when necessary and cleaning up after them. In general, anything necessary to ensure the happiness of your pet(s). |

Why should I use in-home pet-sitting over kenneling
my pets? Sometimes, older dogs cannot handle the stress of being away from home and from you for that matter. Keeping your pet at home makes things a little easier, because even though you may be away from home, he/she can still remain in the comfort of familiar surroundings. For pets which show their feelings of your absence by being destructive, kenneling may indeed be a more suitable alternative. Traveling with pets can be very difficult. Depending on your travel arrangements, there are different problems that can arise, such as finding hotels that will allow your pets. Depending on the type of pet that you have, you can't always take them everywhere you might want to go. And, sometimes it can be more work for you to take your pet with you on trips; you have to make sure you not only have everthing for yourself, but also your pets (i.e. packing food, food bowls, water, toys, first aid kit, etc.) Keeping them at home not only saves you from those extra worries, but you can also rest assured that while you're away, having someone come into your home can help keep your home looking "lived-in" by turning on lights, opening blinds, etc. |
