SHARON'S SANTAS
I have been collecting Santas for several years now.  I don't know why, just that I have always liked them.  I guess they remind me of my childhood and help remind me that Christmas is about the children.  There is no greater joy than to see the smiles on their little faces when they see that Santa has come.

The Santa on the left I found at a thrift store.
He is dressed in ivory brocade and fake fur, with gold lame inset.  His face & hands are  porcelain.

The Santa on the right I found at a flea market.  He originally had some miniature lights that blinked, but the wiring was gone, so I just removed them.  He is dressed in dark red felt-like material with fake fur trim and a rope belt.  He has a stack of small logs in one arm.  His beard is ivory colored yarn, and his face & hands are porcelain..
This Santa is animated.  His head and
arms moves.  He holds a light in one hand and a bag of toys and greenery in the other. His robe is red velvet and fake fur.  His face and hands are porcelain.
The white santa on his left is a ceramic planter I found in an antique store, and the red santa on his right is also a planter.
This is a latch hook rug that my daughter Shelly made for me.  I think it is beautiful.  I have it hanging on my front door on the inside of the living room.
This is a paper mache Santa that I bought at a discount store.  He is made entirely of paper, with a cotton fiber beard.  He is
holding a bell in one hand, and there is a
rope around his other arm that has a bag of
greenery attached to it.
