When we hurt someone,
We don't realize how much
Pain we bring to those we hurt.
We know when someone hurts us
The pain we feel,
But we never take into consideration
That maybe the one we have hurt,
Has feelings just life ourselves.
When we hurt someone,
It may not be intentional,
But the pain is still there,
And the bitterwords once spoken
Puts a scar upon your heart,
And it bleeds, with each thought.
When we hurt someone,
We don't understand or realize
Why we do or say these things,
We know we are wrong,
But continue on....
But I do know,
That when we hurt someone,
We should feel bad,
And therefore we should hurt too.
The only thing left to do is
To apologize to the one you've hurt,
And hope and pray they can find it
In their hearts to forgive you.
For this is the price you pay,
When you have hurt someone.
