| A Mother's Psalm 23 Lord, You are my baby's lifelong keeper. You will provide for all his needs, and mine as well (v.1). You gently lay him down on flannel sheets and gently lead him into sweet dreams (v.2) You keep restoring my soul for both our sakes so that when my baby wakes again, I am glad (v.3) Even when my baby suffers because of sickness, teething, and earaches, he won't need to fear anything-and neither will I- for You will always be near. With You night songs and God-hugs, You will comfort us (v.4) Lord, You prepare a place of peace for us in the darkest morning hours. You watch me anoint my baby with lotion and powder (v.5). You hear each sleepy prayer and blessing in Your name. Lord, You know when I smile at baby, how laughter spills out of my heart (vv.5-6) I'm confident that Your goodness and mercy will follow him all the sweet days of his life. And my baby will dwell in Your house of love forever (v.6) Amen Heather H. Kopp |

| Psalm 23 1.The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want 2.He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house oh the LORD forever. |
