Every women was born to be a Princess. Our Father, God in heaven, is the ruler over all the earth. As His children, adopted into His family through our faith in Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, we are royal heirs to all of God's promises. Our Creator designed His daugthers to be the glory of men and the mother of all living things. We were the final touch of creation and the solution to lonliness in mankind. Why have so many women fallen from that place of honor and esteem?
It grieves me to see women hiding in the shadows of a busy church, and saddened by sacred secrets from their past they wish to conceal. Christian women should be restored to their place of wholeness before God so their testimony will draw all women back to the Lord. Yet many beautiful Christian women are still trying to keep their secrets instead of giving them to the Lord, their Secret Keeper.
The dirt of their old lives clings to them as if they bathe daily in liquid silt. They go about their daily routine covered with fresh mud, concealing their true identity. Pretending not to even notice their filthy condition. Their light is not shining and no one can see the Princess within whom their Father created them to be. All signs of thier royal inheritance have been covered with the degradation of mistakes that were made at some point in their lives.
These women are like Cinderella. Even after giving their lives to Jesus, being fully aware of their rightful inheritance, they continue to retreat to the corners and dust themselves with the cinders of ash heap. Are you like her?
Wicked oppressor tried to make Cinderella ashamed of her humble position, convincing her that she was not worthy to participate in the celebration of the kingdom. When the truth came that she could indeed go to the ball, she had to lift her chin, regain her dignity and dress herself with attire more befitting a women ready to offer her hand to a prince.
