Daddy Daddy

My life I have ruined, no more innocent I am. Look how far I went Daddy from where I began. To crawl back in your arms is what I want and to never leave your arms of wisdom that you taught. Oh to listen I should have done. To spare me from my haunting of choices made disappointments that can’t be undone.

Butterfly kisses I so often miss. Can you forgive me daddy, all I have to offer you is this;

I met this man named Jesus. I confessed my faults to Him. He told me that I was forgiven and that my sin was upon Him. He said they nailed Him to a cross because He loved us so. He said that I was pardoned, he said," Sherry you are free to go."

Just like a pure spotless lamb I begin to run, I’ve been set free; a new life has begun. I can’t help but look back at the cross. What man can love like this? No not one.

God in all your glory you left your throne above came to earth to save us, to show us all your love.

Daddy He’s so awesome, mistakes I’ve made fade in comparison to what I have found in Him. I believe I could fly, like my feet could really leave the ground. Someday I will this much I know. I thought I’d tell you Daddy, I thought you would like to know.
