| Part Three "What information do you seek?" he asked "Well, how do you feel right now?" "Irritated." "Really, why?" "Because I am wasting time that could be spent beating the pulp out of Kakarotto talking to you." "Aha. Do you and this 'Kakarotto' often get into skirmishes?" "Of course. That's what we do. Beat the shit out of each other." "Ah. I see. Are many of your relationships as volatile as this one with Goku?" Vegeta gave the psychiatrist an odd glance, but ignored the fact that he knew KakaroTto's human name. "Of course not. It's just that he and I are the last of the Saiyajins and I have to prove to the moron that I'm stronger than him." "How was your relationship with your father?" "Excuse me?" "Did you getalong well? Did you feel you could go to him with your problems?" Vegeta thought about this. Was a prince supposed to have problems to begin with? Of course not, at least nothing he couldn't handle on his own. So why would he have gone to his father? Plus he hadn't been on Vegiita for too long before the explosion, so how was he supposed to know? "It depends on your view of what a good relationship is." Why am I telling him this?? To please Bulma? Yeah, right... "Well, did you talk to him?" "Sometimes." "Did you play together?" "Does combat training count?" "Umm... no. Did you share things with him? Your hopes, your dreams?" "I hardly think I would tell my father such things!! He had far more pressing matters, such as running a planet." "Running a planet? What does your dad do?" "You mean what did he do. He was the king of Vegiita." "Ummm... he was the king of you?" "No. Vegiita. The planet." What a moron. "Hmmm... well that brings up an interesting topic. Lets discuss the aspects of you. Are you married? Do you have children?" "I am mated. We have one child." "Aha, and how do you play those roles?" "What roles?" "Father .... uh, 'mate' ... I guess?" "I have no time for that frivolous nonsense." "Ummm... gee most people aren't that blunt about it. Well do you have any feelings at all towards Trunks?" Vegeta gave him another strange look. This guy sure was good with names... Of course the only response Vegeta would allow himself was a slight 'hmph!' Inwardly, however, an image of the purple haired boy ran happily through his head, a mempory of one of the multiple times he had been following him along, in an obvious test of his patience. |
