| Chapter 2 I stared in shock at my foreign surroundings, and the two young girls standing in front of me. The shorter, longer haired of the two glared at me. "HEY! I asked you a question!!" she growled as a ki blast flared in her hand. Her companion put a hand out. "Cham, don't. He can't answer our questions dead." Cham?! Then that must mean... "Um, this question may sound weird, but where are we?� �That is a weird question. We are in the Gurdin Canyons, can�t you tell?!� the other girl, who couldn�t be anyone but Sarris, asked incredulously. �Not if he was a spy. So, who are you working for? The Tieli-jin? Maybe Frieza? Or is it that damned prince again?! I swear, you royal spies are the absolute worst spies I�ve ever-� �I�m not a spy! I just accidentally phased here from Chikyuu when I-� �WHAT?!?! You phased here?! Okay, pal, you better start explaining quickly. From what you say you aren�t from around here, yet you�re at least part Saiyajin, and you have the ability to phase. Would you care to explain?� Cham asked, glaring at me even more fiercely than before, if such a thing were possible, that is. �Well, my name is Son Gohan, and you�re right, I am part Saiyajin. Half, to be more precise. My mother is from Chikyuu, the planet I was born on, and my dad was sent there as a baby-� �And he started interbreeding with the locals instead of doing what he was sent to do. Gee. This could lead to some crap. Maybe Princey�s spies are gonna have their hands full and not be able to follow little old me anymore,� Cham said, with more than a little glee on her face. �Chikyuu�. That sounds so familiar�.� Sarris muttered. �Wait a minute! Chikyuu is where� liar! No Saiyajins have been to Chikyuu yet, and won�t be for another month or two. So, I would suggest you run, because my friend and I don�t appreciate being lied to. You have already seen her violent temper, and are about to see mine.� �No wait I can explain. Okay, it is true that no Saiyajin have made it to Earth yet, in this time. But my father, Kakarrot I believe you would know him as, will be. He falls, hits his head, loses his memories, and is raised human. He doesn�t find out who or what he is until I am about 4, when Raditz comes to get him�. And that is another long story that I don�t want to go into.� �Oooookay. But that gives no explanation as to WHY you are here, Mr. Gohan. And it also raises the question of why you know these things. Would you care to explain?� a new voice suddenly chimed in. Both the other girls turned, giving glares that could freeze ice. �OCEANA!!! Not only did you ruin the mood of our interrogation, but I thought you were supposed to be on Frutos this week!! Why the bloody hell did you follow us out here?!� Oceana bristled. �I figured you were out here sparring and would need me to drag your sorry, unconscious asses home. The gods know no one else was gonna come.� Cham smirked. �Well, at least they taught you how to talk in basic training. Maybe you can fight, too.� Oceana snorted. �Right, like I couldn�t before. Come on Cham, give me a LITTLE credit.� �Oh fine, you fight better than Sarris,� Cham said with a smirk and a veiled look in her other friends direction. �WHAT?!?!?!? Excuse me, but I am as strong or stronger than YOU! And at least I can see over the tops of counters in the kitchen!!� �Are you trying to imply something with that statement?!� �Yeah, I�m implying that your short! Why do you think the prince sends spies after you?! Anyone else who could become queen would have to reach down! You�re the only other midget on the planet!� �Oh lord�..� Oceana mumbled, then started looking for a high rock formation to hide behind. �What did you say?� Cham asked in a low voice, already buliding up a ki charge in her hand. �I said you were a midget. Why, is it wrong to tell the truth now?� �AHHHHHHHH!!!!!� Cham yelled loudly, ki charge growing wildly. It charged to the size of a giant beach ball, then back down to the size of an orange. �That�s it, YOU�RE GOING DOWN!!!!!� The blast flew and a large cloud of reddish dust flew up. As it cleared, Sarris� form slowly became visible. �Was that the best you could do, shorty?!� she yelled jovially at Cham, who looked like she was about to breathe fire. Wordlessly, the two flew at each other, and a flurry of kicks and punches, skewed with speed, fell without harm on the recipients� blocking arm or leg. Finally the two threw punches simultaneously, which both struck their targets in the face. Both girls fell violently to the ground. Oceana sighed, then seemed to shrug. She placed a blow to the back of her head fell hard as well. I sighed. �Oh sure, leave me to see you three home�� I picked up the three girls and lay them over my shoulders. �Okee dokee, let�s see if I can figure out where the hell to go. Hmm� hey that ki seems like Dad�s. Neato. Okay girls, let�s go!� |
