Chapter 1

I saw Vegiitasei destroyed.  Which is odd in and of itself, seen as how the event happened long before my birth.  Yet I am certain that this is what I have seen.  No one can mistake the image of a a planet of warriors cut down by a coward.
There was a low snarling, and suddenly a Saiyajin, the very object of my nightmares and preoccupying thoughts, was standing before me.  The apparition stood for a while more, before acknowledging my presence.
"And why the hell are you staring at me, Gohan? Is my hair sticking up?"  Having a Saiyajin girlfriend was never exactly predicatble, and that just about doubled where Cham was concerned.  Mirai Trunks and I always had some very fascinating stories to tell, as he was dating Sarris, Cham's best friend and partner in bizzare behaivior.  One can only wonder about those two.  Today, of course, was no exception.
"What was that you said about humor being strictly a daylight event?" Cham just shrugged, and continued her hodge-podged course to the kitchen, a few crashing noises and small amounts of rubble (not to mention a few scorch marks) marking the tired Saiyajin's path.
"Sarris and I are sparring in a little bit, good to get out before the barren extent of nothingness gets crowded, you wanna come?  We promise not to tell anyone that we kicked your ass so early in the morning," she invitied.  Of course by now I had learned to translate Chamomil's language into normal language.  That was only a few steps above begging.
"Well, when you put it THAT way... eh why not?" I responded.  "Maybe I can get some sleep after that," I said to myself.  I hadn't slept more than two hours a night in a very long time, due to dreams plagued with the shrapnel of a dead planet.  In my dreams I always vowed revenge, and felt that as the only real part of my dream.  But how do you avenge what has happened in another era?
My silent thoughts were disturbed by very loud cursing from the kitchen.  Loud banging and an eerie blue glow emanated from the doorway.  "Cham, I really think you should let my mom teach you to cook like she said she would," I said.  Cham snorted in reply, which was an obvious 'I don't think so.'  I sighed.  The two of them seemed to have started on the wrong foot.  In the wrong lane, going the wrong way down the track...
Suddenly another form started to materialize in the middle of the room.  Oh, this should be good I muttered.  As the shimmering light around the form dissipated, I recognized Sarris.
Hey, Gohan! Wheres Cham? she said quietly.  I pointed silently to the kitchen.  Sarris face morphed into an evil grin, and she stalked quietly towards the door.  As she entered, a blast came out of the room.
HA!! Try and sneak up on ME will you?! Chams voice yelled over the loud crashing noises.  Another light burst punctuated her sentence.  I sighed, and walked into the kitchen.  The girls had each other in mutual death grips on the floor, and both were already turning a reddish purple color.
Now girls, cant you wait five minutes to fight each other.  You know it wont be long until you can spar, plus if you leave first no one has to clean up the mess in here afterwards.
Both girls looked thoughtful, but Cham was the first to speak.  Youre right.  Blood stains are hell to get off any floor, especially that rug over there.
Fine I suppose waiting is the thing to do. Sarris said dissapointedly.  Then she and Cham both grinned.  Or.
We could leave now!!!  Suddenly neither of the girls were anywhere to be seen.  I sighed and found their power levels, phasing to their locations.  When I looked around panic hit me.  I wasnt on Earth.  A vaguely familiar power level brought my attention to my left.
HEY! Who the hell are you?!?
