Edward Florendo Angala was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on December 2, 1972. He is the only son of Rodolfo and Beatriz Angala. He has two sisters Bernadette and Catherine. He grew up in Kalihi until the age of 2, then his family decided to move to Pearl City in 1974. He graduated from Pearl City High School in 1990 and was a member of the High School's Tennis team, which won the OIA West Championship during his Freshman year. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and has a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification from the University of Phoenix - Hawaii Campus. He is currently employed at the Hawaii Medical Service Association, also known as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Hawaii working as a Data Center Analyst.

Aside from work, Edward serves as the newly elected Membership Vice President for the Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce as the Filipino Jaycees. Which, involves him in many community service & charity events through out the year.

During his leisure time he loves to workout at the local gym at least 3 to 4 times a week to stay in top shape. He also loves to dance, which includes all types such as Hip Hop, Filipino Folk, Ballroom & Kane (Male) Hula where he has danced for Hula Halau Na Puna Hele O’ Na Pua.

He also enjoys singing karaoke, playing Playstation 2 games with his nephews Cyrus and Jase and of course playing all sports, which include Tennis, Golf, and especially Basketball with his brother-in-laws Jeff and Dean, his cousins, and many friends. Away from all those energetic activities, when he just wants to relax, he spends quality time with his "Love of his Life" Sheri-Lyn and with Family and Friends.

About Sheri-Lyn

Sheri-Lyn Reka Baclig is the proud and youngest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Epifanio and Remedios Baclig. She currently works full-time as the Office Administrator/Office Manager for a computer TCP/IP engineering firm called, iReady Corporation. Sheri-Lyn is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Communication. She graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society and Lambda Pi Eta National Honors Society.

Aside from work and school, Sheri-Lyn has well served Hawaii’s community since the age of eight and now stands on the Board of Directors for the Honolulu Filipino Junior Chamber of Commerce. “Hawaii has given me many opportunities in reaching my goals,” Sheri-Lyn said, “This is just one way of giving back: Being involved.”

In 2000-2001, Sheri-Lyn was the reigning Miss Oahu Filipina. Her title as Miss Oahu Filipina played a significant part in here life. She represented the State of Hawaii during her trip to the Philippines where she learned a tremendous amount of knowledge about her culture and family roots. She also was awarded a new car for a year from Toyota Servco and received over $2000 in scholarships and prizes. “I joined this pageant because I wanted to learn more about my culture.” Sheri-Lyn said, “And what I found out is that I learned more about myself and my capabilities, in which is not often found in most people.”

Sheri-Lyn Baclig obtained her Associates Degree in Liberal Arts in December in 2001 from Leeward Community College in Pearl City, Hawaii. She graduated with honors and was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society. She graduated from Waipahu High School, Magna Cum Laude, in 1998 where she than received five different scholarships from respected businesses and non-profit organizations.

Sheri-Lyn has two older sisters, Karen and Amanda, a beautiful niece, Devyn, and a handsome nephew, Matthew. Sheri-Lyn is the only sibling that isn’t married but is engaged to Edward Florendo Angala. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 4, 1980. She is 23 years old.
