| One important component of the Technology Plan is the identification of target areas. Target areas are benchmark resources for the development of future goals for the technology plan. The target area goals will assist the school in comparing their practices in a systematic way to standards of excellence. The authors have included a diagram illustrating the five-component process of developing target area goals. |
