The 1988 GRAMMY winner for ALBUM OF THE YEAR was "Faith" by George Michael.

The 1988 EMMY winner for BEST DRAMA was THIRTYSOMETHING.

The 1988 EMMY winner for BEST COMEDY was THE WONDER YEARS.

REMEMBER THE 80'S:  Thin ties, fluorescent clothes, friendship pins, designer jeans, stonewashed/icewashed/ripped jeans, IZOD shirts with the collars up, LA GEAR hi-top sneakers, Molly Ringwald movies, Madonna bracelets, Cabbage Patch kids, Ronald Reagan, Michael Jackson, MTV still played videos!

SHS MEMORIES:  "Orange Crush", buying lollipops at DECA, hanging out "down front", which lunch wave are you in, don't be late or your card will be sent to the office, "Here We Go Gaels, Here We Go", working at Bradlees or Stop & Shop, working at the mall, Burger King opens in Shelton, the Snowflake Swirl, waiting in line to get out of the parking lot, keeping warm at the Thanksgiving Game, Mr. Student Body, telling freshmen their class was on the 5th floor next to the pool!
