Fresca was our first show dog, and the girl that filled the void in our lives when we hadn't had any danes. Since she has come to live with us, we have expanded our numbers, all with their own pieces of our hearts.

What we believe took our girl from us way too early....... We had choosen months ago for many reason to switch our feeding program from a non-grocery store premium brand to Eagle Pack Dog Food on MOST of our dogs. There were many reasons for this one of which was lack of breeding ablility in our girls and a "knuckling over" problem in 1 litter of young puppies. Eagle being the Super Premium Food that it is contains 3 meat proteins, probiotics, prebiotics, omegas, and essential amino acids that most foods don't. We also fed another premium food to our maintenance girls, that of which we now know does not contain the probiotics and prebiotics needed in proper digestion. On January 1st of 2001 Fresca bloated and torsed....emergency surgery was performed and she pulled through with flying colors! We decided to feed her the Eagle Natural Pack, feeling lower proteins and fats with the glocosimine were easier for her to digest after such a tramatic surgery. The day of the 23rd we felt she was doing so well we decided to wean her back onto her regular diet.....during the night of the 23rd, Fresca rebloated/torsed and we found her dead the next morning. I lost my "HEART" dog to a stupid uninformed mistake! Only 5+ years old and she is gone forever. Some day I will take the time to write the extrodinary life of this girl..but after malignant malinoma, empty litters, one Reserve Winners Bitch after another, she finally blessed me with a BOB win over 36 dogs and 2 specials. It will be a long time before I see that again! All that and she was taken away from me because of invalid claims of a dog food company. I know the quality of Eagle dog foods, I see it every day, my dogs are healthy, happy, and ALIVE! This is a testimonial for Eagle, take it or leave it, but until you live through what we have, you'll never appreciate the quality of a good food.
