Cordy: What does it say?
Angel: (Putting the paper in his pocket) Nothing. I have to go.
Cordy: Go! Go where? Your wounded Mr.
Angel: (Walking toward the door doubled over holding his wound, he turned back to Cordy.) I have to.
(Angel pushed the door open and allowed himself to be swallowed in the darkness. Reaching the warehouse hed found Shasta in before he creaked the rusted door open and allowed himself inside. Hearing nothing he became cautious.)
Angel: Spike! Come out. I know youre here.
(Spike walked out of the darkness letting himself be seen under the small bit of light the moon provided.)
Spike: You got my invitation. Oh goodie!
Angel: What do you want?
Spike: Well if you want to get right to the point, I was hoping we could sit down as friends and have a cup of tea.
Angel: Spike, you and I will never be friends. Now why did you want to talk to me about?
Spike: (Growing anger with a stern tone in his voice) Its about Shasta. Stay away from her Angel. I may have a chip in my head but that wont stop me from kicking your ass. See, she is the first girl that loves me, and Ill be damned if Ill let her slip through my fingers because you wont stay away from her.
Angel: I knew that was you in the club, I could smell your disgusting scent. Ya know, you couldnt care less about her Spike. You still have feelings about Buffy. Before then, you were in love with Drusilla. But like every one youll ever come in contact with, they rejected you. Face it Spike, your a twisted freak with grotesque fantasies that will never come true.
Spike: The truth can be rough cant it? (Beginning to walk away Spike stopped himself and turned to Angel once more.) Oh, I forgot to mention something.(Angel looking attentive. With a twisted grin he spoke) Shes really good in the sack.
(Angel grew unstaibly angry, walking faster and faster Angels fist once again met with Spikes left cheek. Spike hit the ground Angel stood above him, fists still clenched.)
Spike:(Looking back up at him, taking his hand off of his cheek) Oh, hit a bit of a cord with you did I mate?
Angel: Shut the hell up Spike. You better not have.
Spike: Oh, I did, a couple times actually. You have no idea what you missed out on. Shes a real animal.
Angel: She wouldnt touch you.
Spike: Oh, yes she would, she has (Smerking) when ever she wants to shell touch me, cuddle me. I remember laying there with her, She told me all about you too. The way you broke her heart, and left her alone. You seem to be pretty good at breaking hearts. (Making crude head juesters) First Shasta, then Buffy, I could name a few more but I shouldnt. In fact I have to be getting back home so that I can fondle her or she can give me a nosh or two.
(Grabbing Spikes shirt collar his wound and pain forgotten, Angel lifted him off the ground. Angel looked at him furiously)
Spike: (Choking) I wouldnt do that if I were you.
Angel: (pissed) And whys that?
Spike: Because of this.
(Spike kneed Angels wound extremely hard causing Angel to take steps back, releasing Spike and holding his abdomen. Dropping to his knees Spike walked in circles around him chuckling.)
Spike: I told you not to do that. (Kicking Angel in the stomach numerous times. He began to walk away leaving Angel curled in a ball. He turned to speak one last time before he left) Like I said Angel. Leave Shasta alone. Or the next time itll be worse. (Lighting a cigarette he looked on Angel again.) Have a nice day. You had better get back home before the sun comes up and you make a mess all over the floor.
(Spike opened the door and crept out. Angel lay breathing hard on the cold pavement. Sprawling out he groaned at the ecstatic pain Spike had left him with. Looking through the cracks he could see the moon, lying there he fell asleep coughing occasionally. The dawn was upon all of the undead.)
(Reaching the place he had known as home for the past few weeks Spike creaked the semi-large door. Stepping in he paused to gaze upon Shasta, whom was fast asleep. The light from the fire bounced off her beautiful features and he looked in awe. Peeling his shirt off of his body he climbed into bed with her. Wrapping his arms around her warm body she moaned with pleasure.)
Shasta: (Her eyes stayed shut as she cooed sweetly) Where were you?
Spike: I got stuffy so I went to take walk, I was craving a cigarette.
Shasta: (Sweetly) I missed you.(Turning to face him) I wanted to hold you like this all night. (Kissing him she began into a pleasant sleep) I love you.
(No response came from Spike but she knew he cared for her, he had proven than in so many ways. He had not grown to be tired with her company, he had taken her in under his own free will, so that had to stand for something. Kissing her forehead they drifted to sleep in a naked embrace.)
(The next dark foul night Angel lay again curled in a ball as if a sleeping kitten or beaten dog. He tried to grab some sort of object to help him to his feet. Nothing was around so he rolled onto his stomach though it hurt him so profoundly. He placed his palms on the cold cement pushing himself to his feet, he staggered out of the warehouse and into A.I. were his friends looked upon him in total utter shock.)
Cordy: Angel! What happened?
Angel: Nothing.
Cordy: Nothing doesnt cause you to walk in here like that!
Angel: I ran into Spike and he hit me with a few cheap shots. Im ok though.
Cordy: Your not Ok! I told you not to go out! Didnt I tell you not to go out?!
Wesley: He got you good Angel, your bleeding through your bandages again. Quick Charles get me some more dressing.
Angel: (Hissing as they began removing the bandages) Ill be fine.
(Back in the lair, Shastas cheek lay on Spikes bare chest, her arm draped over his body and his did the same. Kissing his chest she returned to look back into the fire. She wanted to stay like this for the rest of their long eternal lives. Getting up from where she lay she rummaged through her duffel bag for something to cloth her body in. She slipped on a pair of black velvet pants, snapping together a black lace bra, she topped her outfit off by covering her upper parts in a mosquito net black shirt, finishing the dress down she laced her three-inch heel black leather boots. Turning to Spike she winked as she slipped on a long sleeved black velvet cloak with hood.)
Shasta: Ill bring back something to drink.
(She walked over and placed a kiss upon his tender cold lips. Her eyes preyed apart and lingered on his own as she left the cozy place.)
(Walking through the park, Shasta walked under the same beautiful lights as her and Angel once walked under together as friends. Suddenly she spotted her victim, a taller man slightly handsome but he didnt strike her fancy. This was perfect, the man was walking alone, probably admiring the city life or just the spectacular lights that surrounded him. Removing the hood of her cloak off of her head, the man drew closer. Quickly her features shifted to those of a vampire. Lunging at the man, with her hand she muffled his screams as she tore at his exposed throat, Draining the blood from his body she began to feel full. Standing she began to walk away leaving the man to die, she turned back around to look him in the eyes, Terrified, betrayed, she quickly turned her head away. Then, she looked back at him.)
Shasta: (Between the mans chocking gurgles) Aw, common it wasnt that bad. You wouldve died anyway. If not because of me then of old age. (Cheery) So cheer up!
(She looked upon him, watching him slip away, his eyes began to darken as he passed into the other world. With a final tilt of his head he was completely gone now. Giggling she whipped her mouth on the sleeve of her cloak, the blood had stained her lips and cheek. Her appearance changed again, she was now human. Knowing Spike would be hungry, her next victim would have to be female, thats the taste Spike preferred. Placing the hood back upon her head she began to walk onward. Shasta found a young couple walking hand in hand; it reminded her of Angel and herself, (Flashbacks.) Changing once again to her vampire self, she decided both of them had to die for making her remember. Pulling the mug from a purse she had been carrying, a twisted smile spread across her face. She attacked the couple with a vengeance, and all that could be heard that night were the frantic screams that echoed throughout the park.)
(Shasta returned home as dawn peeked over the horizon, the mug in her hands. Opening the door Spike looked at her craving at the treat he knew she possessed. Looking at him playfully she sat down in the desk chair waving the mug back and forth, watching his action with every sway. Twisting the top she placed the lid on top of the desk. Dipping her index finger into the mug her skin was now coated with the deliciously sweet copper liquid. Bringing it to her lips she noticed Spike was looking at her almost in a pleading manner hidden by anger. Getting up from his seat in the bed he paced over to where his beauty sat. Shasta gazed at his body and how she thought him so sexy. Now hovering over her, she placed her finger inside her mouth and proceeded to suck it dry of the flavor.)
Shasta: (Swaying the mug again she teased) Do you want this?
Spike: (Sexually) Does sun kill vampires?
Shasta: (Continuing swaying the cup) This right here?
Spike: Ya. That.
( Spike quickly moved in for a kiss that Shasta was already braised for. Placing his hand around her head she placed the mug on the desktop and began to kiss him back passionately. Wrapping her arms around him they moved to the bed where they made love once more. Afterward Shasta got up from the bed, grabbing the mug she handed it to her lover. Drinking his treat he kissed her again and they lay together, thought they felt the darkness of night spewing the bright
life of L.A.) Shasta: (Looking into the fire) I need you to do something for me.
Spike: (Looking down at her confused) And what would that be?
Shasta: (Looking into his eyes) When the time comes Ill let you know. But you must answer me? Yes or no.
Spike: (Kissing her) As long as it doesnt involve me getting hurt.
Shasta: I would die before I let anything happen to you Spike.
(At A.I., Angel lay on the couch sleeping, sweat formed on his brow. He slept uncomfortably, almost not at all. His dreams were twisted (into dream) Shasta, was sitting in the dark with only a small light shinning upon her but not as a human, her face was a vampiric deformity. Smiling blood began to ooze from her mouth, her bloody teeth were exposed as if mocking her observer. There was another set of eyes behind her that shined a yellow in the dark. Coming out from the darkness Angel saw him, Spike, but as a vampire. He began kissing her, letting his hands wander. Stopping, the two looked at Angel and began to laugh hystarically as more eyes, red eyes shown from behind them, jolting up and almost taking gasps of air he didnt need, Angel awoke from his nightmare.)
Cordy: (Rushing to his side with a damp cloth.) Its alright Angel. Are you ok, you slept for a minute like you were in a coma. (Patting his head with the cloth)
Angel: (Looking at her she stopped) Thank you.
Cordy: (Continuing patting his head) Your welcome. Dont worry Angel. (Reassuringly) Everything will turn out the way we want it too. I guess you just have to have faith, and hope that Spike doesnt punch you like he did again.
(Cautiously walking down the dark tunnel, where all that could be heard was the gnawing and squeaking of the rats. Pushing opened the rusted beat up door Shasta poked her head inside to make sure Spike was not there. Walking in she sat on the bed, from her black backpack she pulled an old tattered spell book out. Wipping the dust from the cover she began to skim through the pages looking for what she wanted to find. Suddenly, a sigh of relief struck her, she found it, what she had been looking for. Reading the caption Loqumeer (Lock - meer) it was almost the same as a giant ogar. It was tall and swift, with a blue tinted skin, and red eyes, reading on she noticed a smaller print. Loqumeer is an Ancient demon summoned mearley to destroy. Whomever masters the Loqumeer shall control it for the rest of their days unless it is destroyed. Shasta read further down the list for things that she needed to summon the beast. All that was needed to Shastas surprise was a gate to a different demention, and blood from the person whom becons the creature, Then you were to say the incantation three times,
Verutas,
Betru,
Alabearus.
Then Shasta slammed the book closed, hearing someone attempt to come in. Seeing it was Spike she calmed down. Opening the book back up, Spike looked upon her curiously.)
Spike: Uh, Shasta luv, What are you reading?
Shasta: This is where I needed your help. I need to find a gate, to another demention but I cant do that without you. I wouldnt know how to seek one out.
Spike: What are you doing that you need a dimensional gate?
Shasta: Do you want to be with me? Without Angel always looking for you and I.
Spike: I never wanted Angel around from the getgo.
Shasta: But do you want to be with me. If not Ill forget about this whole thing, I mean the only reason Im doing it is...... for you and us.
Spike: (Looking baffled then serious. He took a seat next to her.) Youre the first girl that has ever loved me. I mean Dru but she loved the old me, before she said I had gone soft, and before I got this damn chip in my bloody skull. And you love me for me, and the fact that I am incredibly sexy. I dont know if I love you. (Shastas head slumped but with his index finger he lifted her chin up) But, there is something.
(She kissed his cold lips and felt a shiver creep upon her. Opening the book again she placed it on both their laps and began to explain what it was the two lovers had to do.)
(Meanwhile at A.I Angel paced slowly back and forth thinking, trying to come to some conclusion to this twisted reunion. Rob and his mates still sat impatient of returning their guitarist, seven gigs had already been lost because of Shastas disappearance. Cordy stood at the front desk twiddling her pencil between her fingers, resting her chin in the palm of the other hand. Charles and Wesley watched also thinking of what they could do, because knowing Spike, he would have something else planned besides taking Shasta away.)
Angel: We have to find her, we have to get this situation right again.
Rob: Ya, Ok. Lets just go to their door and watch her stab you again.
Cordy: Robs right. We have to wait until they both go to feed again. And when they do we get them.
Angel: Cordy! their not animals. Well, not Shasta anyway.
Cordy: Sorry. To much TV. But you have to consider the fact that they will go out together again. But we dont have a plan as how we are going to get them to listen to us.
Angel: We have to try.
(Spike and Shasta walked hand in hand down a dark alley, much darker than any of the others. In their free hands they carried the book and a dagger. Finally they stopped at the end of the alley. The negative energy was strong, they stood before what looked like a wormhole. Shasta rested on her knees. Placing the book in front of her she flipped to the spell where in ink lay the incantation.)
Shasta: Spike, can I have the dagger please?
(Spike stretched out his hand, Shasta grasped the dagger in her palm. Making two cuts on her hands she dropped the dagger and began to read the incantation as the portal turned a sapphire blue.)
Shasta: Vaerutas, Betru, Alabearus. Vaerutas, Betru, Alabearus. Vaerutas, Betru, Alabearus.
(The portal changed to a liquid type form, green and black. It seemed almost to suck Shasta and Spike into it but it was slowly turning them, Shastas face was almost merging with the portal, the part of her face that was in the portal was vampiric, the same with Spikes face. Both of them looked like their vampires halves. Despite the chip in his head Spike was also changing, slowly. Shasta looked into the portal and saw a little blue dot growing larger and taking shape. The shape that was described in the book. The creature was coming at them fast. The winds from the portal were pushing Spike away, Shasta simply stood up like there were no winds. She was standing straight, then she spread her arms out allowing the blood the fall to the ground. Suddenly there was a flash of light throwing the two vampires into each other. When the light faded the two looked on the creature, he was tall and looked like a hairless gorilla with twisted evil chaos demon features, blue tinted skin, red eyes, the same description as the book had given . But it just stood there as if it were stupid. Looking at each other, Shasta almost screamed at Spikes appearance.)
Spike: (Noticing the horrified look on her face)What is it?
