Sanctioning Diversity
As humanity
we have toppled many obstacles
the only thing that remains
is intolerance for other cultures and belief systems
The hate and the pride & the prejudice that plagues us
We have tripled our possessions and enjoyed them less
We are only adding to our suffering.
Murder of an innocent man
I
was a simple man
I did my work
I prayed at night and went to bed.
As I awoke my wife was dead.
A Chinese barrel was pointed straight in my face.
I only asked "Give me grace"
Their grace was a swift execution.
For being a Tibetan, so I was murdered.
True Colors
See
past the appearance
discover another's true colors
for by looking at the heart
you can see right through a person
For I have seen right through your beautiful face
And you're Ugly inside!
Handcuffed by your aggression and envy
I can feel the loathing,
and I regret your position
now with the knowledge
that you have a stone heart
break free from your chains
The Intelligent ones can see your true colors.
Scourging Blindness
I'm
not as delicate as a desert rose
prevailing wind sweeping up the dust
it clouds your mind with a residual lust
Your ignorance is enough to disgust
The use of your mind is so ethereal
Who made you mind an abraisive material?
Nature's Cry
Even
the bluejays know were I am
deeply bonded with nature
She calls to me
speaking my name
telling of the wild meadows
and quiet forests
and the depths of the sea
She also tells me of oil
and the poisons
that are inflicting
nearly all of her creatures
Her birds are losing their nests
the plants are being choked
land is being stripped of its natural wonder
all because of human greed.
American Vengeance
An
eye for an eye
a sword for a sword
a life for a life
Why are they considered justified?
When terrorized, we inflict terror
When Bombed, we Bomb Back
When some of ours Die, we Kill some of theirs
How many deaths will stand justified?
Ignorance is Contagious
Like
a deadly virus spreading rapidly
through every cell and membrane
forging a mentality
impaling the will to resist
the bloodbath of ignorance
My
mind is at the lake
freed from my possessions
spare a pencil and paper.
Quotes
Without the
arts life is just a plug
waiting to be pulled.
Our valued
possessions are not are family
members or morals,
but our worthless gadgets, fashion statements,
and vain attitudes.
Making a face
at Fascism will only earn
you another beating.
Neither God,
Nor Satan punish us.
We punish ourselves.
Those who have
powerful words can quite
easily manipulate weak minds.
The human mind
alone cannot grasp
the concept of God.
The key to
the future is knowing the
perils of the past.
I hold it in
good favor to ostracize anyone
who conforms to today's standards.
All
of the poetry that is written above is my own original work.
