A Fan's Guide to Def Leppard in Sheffield
Once the idea was hatched, Tom sat down and made a list of all the sites he thought were important enough to include in the book. Then Leppardized and Tom returned to Sheffield in October 2003 to get the rest of the pictures they needed for the book. Then the real work began, the research! Leppardized wanted to make sure that the information was correct, and up to date. And she also wanted to include some history in the book, and that's why she and Tom proudly speaks of Tony Kenning and Pete Willis. Without them there would be no Def Leppard. Tom searched the internet most of March and April 2004 backing up information and learning new stuff about the sites Leppardized and Tom had chosen. Also, Tom spent countless hours working on the maps and directions to all the sites, especially the bus routes.
Research continued right up to April 2004, when it was time to get the book out. The book was dedicated on April 23rd 2004 to the memory of Steve Clark, because without Steve, there would also have been no Def Leppard. This book is a labour of love, and any real Def Leppard fan will appreciate that.
