Shebean on folkpop-musiikkia soittava kokoonpano, jonka ohjelmisto koostuu p��osin yhtyeen j�senten s�vellyksist�. Oman lis�ns� repertuaariin tuovat Shebeanin sovitukset irlantilaisesta trad-musiikista. Muutamissa kappaleissa k�ytetyt tyylikk��t konetaustat antavat herkille folks�vyille r�v�kk�� vastapainoa. Melodiset rakkauslaulut, menev�t reelit ja jigit, vahvan persoonallinen yhteissoundi ja el�v� esiintyminen ovat Shebeanin valtteja. Sibelius-Akatemiassa alkunsa saanut yhtye on ottanut yleis�ns� vuodesta 2000. Kotimaan keikkojen lis�ksi Shebean on konsertoinut Irlannissa, Namibiassa ja Yhdysvalloissa.

The music of Shebean is an interesting combination of folk and pop music mostly written by the members of the group. Also in the repertoire of Shebean are traditional Irish pieces with some new arrangements. Melodic love songs, energetic reels and jigs, a strong distinctive sound and lively performance on stage make the band really worth seeing live. Shebean started at the Sibelius Academy, Finland, in the year 2000. Since then, the group has been performing at Finnish festivals and clubs and also in Ireland, Namibia and United States.
