A day out to see the World heritage site
of Sigiriya and a chance to climb to the top of the 200
metre monolith. This rock has a fascinating story and
dates back to the fifth century. The rock still houses
remains of the palace, pleasure gardens and the Cloud
Maidens. A near by stop at Dambulla will also be made
to visit the decorated caves which house the amazing Buddha
statues.
