Hello
Train fans! This is an exploration of my current modeling interests!
Right
off the bat I'd like to explain some things, to help you keep my thoughts
in perspective.
My current modeling scale is 7/8, that is 7/8 of an inch equal one foot.
This is truley a pioneering scale with only a handful of modelers and even
less commercial suppliers involved. My past railraoding was 3/8 scale,
which is appropriate for modeling standard gauge rolling stock. The
impetus of 7/8 is to model 2 ft gauge (or some 18 in gauge) industrial
lines. This can be as large as Maine 2 foot prototypes or small
industrial or estate lines. The word of the day is large models of
small prototypes.
