| July 26, 2002 - I did real good all night! Mom put me to bed after my 8:00 pm feeding and I didn't get up till 5:00 am. Doing good! I had my sleeper outfit on last night. It kept me warm and cozy. Dad walked in around 7:30 am and I was already up for 30 minutes looking aroud and moving my arms and legs about. I have these animals above me that I study. Sure is neat how they just float above my head. July 27, 2002 - Well, I was up at 2:00 am and 5:00 am. Not too bad, but not the same as last night! We went to Wal-Mart and the grocery store. Mom got some bananas and made a really neat pie. Dad loved it, it was a surprise. Uncle Ralph and Aunt Gail stopped buy today. They brought a pie too. Mom was feeding me and I had to stop her so I could go visit. They held me and loved me up the whole time. I showed Uncle Ralph my appreciation when I messed my diaper. He was done holding me then. July 28, 2002 - Today was neat. Mom and Dad took me to the park and we walked around and saw the ducks. I sleep for the first half, but was up later on. I could feel the breeze in my hair. I thought Dad wouldn't stop blowing on me until Mom explained. It was very sunny out and I was trying to catch some rays. We tried to watch the NASCAR race today, but it was very long. Dad said is was rain delayed. Dad feed me my bedtime bottle and Mom went to bed. See you all in the morning!!! July 29, 2002 - Happy Birthday Uncle Jim! I was up and down a little last night. Mom came in twice and gave me my NUK, then I feel asleep. I woke up at 5:20 am and Dad got my a bottle. I even had to get a second bottle. Dad keeps call me tank. I have a doctor visit today. I'm huge. Doctor said I can feed on demand (wahtever that means) and Mom doesn't have to stick to the schedule. I get checked and 4 shots!!! That will not be fun. I'm back and the shots are a distant memory! Head 39.5 cm 50% Height 23" 50% Weigh 14 lbs 90% I am a lot more fussy today. I guess the shots kicked in. I had a terrible fit and Mom called Dad. When he got home, I was asleep, but barley. I was very tired and cranky, but Mom and Dad both helped me sleep longer. I feed around 7:00 pm and they played with me till 8:00 pm. Then I was in my crib. It took a few minutes, but I'm........ July 30, 2002 - Mom says I was up and down last night. She came and gave me my nuk and I went to sleep. I even made more noises at 5:00 am to, but I was mostly sleeping. Mom got Dad to watch me then. Dad picked me up around 6:30 am and we just played all morning in my bouncy. I'm making all the music and lights go off!!! That makes me so happy!!! Dad is video taping me again. Oh, I spit out my nuk onto my chest and was able to use my left hand and push it back into my mouth. Now that was cool, I did it all by myself! I didn't sleep too much today. I've been very drowsy though. Mom got my vitamins, but she thought it really stunk. Not sure if I'll be liking that. Well, it's 8:30 pm and Mom is going to give me my last feeding. Got to go... July 31, 2002 - Mom and I played again today while dad went into work. We read books and I played in my bouncy and my swing. Mom laid me on my tummy so that I can strengthen my neck muscles, but I still don't like it very much. Mostly, I lay there and cry. August 1, 2002 - We went to the mall for a little while today. I stayed awake for most of our stay. I slept through lunch. I've been kind of fussy. I'm not sleeping very well during the day, so I get cranky. August 2, 2002 - We got up very early this morning to take daddy to the airport. He is going to Phoenix, Arizona to visit family and friends. I'm really going to miss him. I know mommy is going to miss him too. Mommy and I played together all day. I played in my bouncy, and mommy laid me on my tummy again today. We went to the grocery store too. I stayed awake the whole time. August 3, 2002 - I woke mommy up at 6:00 AM today, and I wouldn't go back to sleep, so we got up and played. We sang and danced to my Raffi CD. We couldn't dance to a lot of songs because I got too heavy for mom. I played with my kick and drive gym today, and mom placed me on my tummy...still don't like it. August, 5, 2002 - Daddy came home around 1:00 AM. We were so happy to see him. We all went to Concord Mills today. It was a lot of fun. Mommy and Daddy bought me a new toy. It plays Rock-a-bye-baby, and it lights up. August 6, 2002 - Daddy left for Tampa early this morning. So, Mommy and I went to Babies R Us. We had a lot of fun. She bought me a Sparkling Symphony Stacker. When we got home I took a nap while she talked to Aunt Joyce and Aunt Karen. Daddy called too. They all told her to give me kisses. Thanks everybody! August 7, 2002 - I slept in my duckie sleeper that Aunt Joyce and Uncle David bought for me. Don't I look adorable? Mommy says I do. I'm still waking up about every three hours. It isn't because I'm hungry. I just get fussy because I'm awake and I'm having trouble getting back to sleep. Page 7 |
