At the beginning of the year I was very frieghtened. I did not know how football was played, what I had to do and so forth. I wanted to play a lot so I did not quit. First week of football practice was hard. We starte with a two a day practice that I would never forget. I never in my life worked myself as hard as I did that week. I was tired. I must of payed off though becaue at the end of the week I earned my spot as a leader for the freshman. I was looked up to by my peers and was there for demonstrations when the coach needed someone for demostration. My coach was coach Winter and he was a ok coach but he had no help at all except for a coach that came once every month. Winter had a bad temper as well and that did not help with the players.

Our team was not the best but I have to say I was glad I had the opportunity to play for a team like that. We only won one game out of a 10 game scheduale. Not good at all. I was able to start as center on offense and I was able to play a little of defense but not too much. I loved football and I tried my hardest all the time. My season was not the greatest but it gave me an opportunity to experience a losing team and from then on I promised my self never to have a season like that again.
