How Can I Volunteer

Headquarters Volunteer

Volunteer at Democratic Headquarters by signing up with the Office Coordinator.
Either come down to Headquarters or phone requesting an interview.
There are a variety of jobs, days and shifts that can be applied for:

1. Data Entry
2. Routine Office Maintenance
3. Answering the phones and making phone calls
4. Preparing Precinct Packets and Teacher Packets
5. Working with students
6. Preparing materials for events
7. And many other jobs that need filling

Volunteering for a Campaign

Each campaign recruits its own volunteers. Volunteers at Headquarters will direct you to the candidate's Campaign Coordinator.

GOTV

The California Democratic Party has adopted the 58 County Program
Each county will develope its Get Out The Vote Program (G.O.T.V.) in order to get out the vote on election day.
This requires pre-election canvassing of voters in the precincts This requires phone banking or going door-to-door.
Knowing how a person will vote allows you to bring out supportive people to the polls on election day.

Registration

We do a year round voter registration drive recruiting new voters and changes in political affliation.
