One of the most... interesting Real-Time strategy games I've ever played. Definitely a 10 on the unique scale. Not that, that is a bad thing, heck, I think it's great! You can play one of four scenarios, the Tha'roon, the Obblinox (sp), the Eaggra (sp), and the Shama'li. Each are part of the major races on Yavun (sp). Each race has its own unique abilities, and personalities. Now, on with the review!

Graphics: 8/10

Nice user interface, mapping tool, unit models, terrain, and buildings. Only gripe I have is the fact that some of the graphics... *cough* are a bit... well, erroneous, being shown in 16 colors at times, and otherwise looking like your computer blew chunks over the monitor! Aside from some technical errors with this dated game, the graphics are great for the engine that they were able to use at the time.

Audio: 10/10

One of the games I wouldn't mind getting the OST to! ^.^;; Music fits perfectly with the scene, and you can choose with song you want to play at the certain time.

Voices are well-done, each race and unit with a unique voice (most of the time). Heh, I remember myself sometimes speaking along with the units. Ya I know, **geek**

Difficulty: 10/10

Old-school RTS play! Varying degrees of difficulty, each mission getting progressively harder and harder. Each scenario starts off with a tutorial mission, teaching you how to play as each race, as the technology trees are different for every race, but the basics are the same throughout.

Storyline: 10/10

Not too much emphasis on the storyline, however, it is still prevalent in all aspects of the game. Each mission follows a storyline, every mission being part of a much larger campaign for freedom, or enslavement (in the case of the Tha'roon).

Not too ruin the game for ya, I won't say much more than: 2 of the races want freedom, 1 wants to unite the other 3, and the other one, wants to enslave the rest, having themselves as their masters.

Gameplay: 9/10

Slow paced action in the beginning of almost every mission, but once you get your base built up, the action picks right up. As I've mentioned before, the game is a lot of fun.

Easy to use interface, for all actions: building, movement, upgrading, exploring, etc.

Overall Rating: 10/10

Overall, excellent game all-around. If you can, buy it as soon as possible! Otherwise, find a freeware site where you can download it. Search for The Home of the Underdogs. They host a lot of freeware programs, and don't worry, it's all legal.
