I like games... Whether it's a puzzle game, action game, First-person Shooter game, I like them all, save sports.

I quite honestly cannot STAND some of the old-school games... I feel as if the developers made them excruciatingly difficult to make up for the..... older *cough* looks *cough*.

At the same time, I feel like some developers make absolutely stunning games that have awesome graphics and sound, but they think that it is all they need, and the game itself turns out... well, to be perfectly frank: Shitty.

Don't get me wrong, some old-school games are classics in their own right, and heck, I've found myself on more than one occasion playing Super Mario Bros. or the first Zelda game, completely engrossed in the gameplay. But, graphics and sound DO make a difference, and when coupled with excellent gameplay, the games of today easily beat out any old-school games.

Lucky for them, I've yet to see many of these games I speak of ;).
