First off, I'd just like to say, LOL. This game has to be one of the best games I've ever played. Not only is it fun, it is also... funny? No, wait, no.... hilarious?... Well, best I can do, next to Side-Bursting, Spleen-Exploding, Pants-wetting, funny? Well, it isn't THAT funny, but it's kinda close :).

Graphics: 9/10

What can I say... for the time... these graphics were the BEST! Shiny water, nearly transparent shirt for the female sea reaper, Delphi...., sun flares, transparent shirt... Some of the monster models are a little... rough, but nothing to deduct a point. Menus are very cool looking. Landscapes are detailed. However the FPS does drop drastically during some parts of Delphi's base-building mission. I have a 1.8 GHZ with a Geforce 4 and 1 GB of RAM... so it ain't my system. Otherwise, I was quite pleased with the graphics.

Audio: 10/10

No complaints here. Every little thing has a sound, but no matter how repetitive, it never gets annoying. From shooting Vimps, to sniping heads off the cannon-fodder, the sound is just dandy. Music isn't too shabby either. Heck, I kinda liked it a lot, as it fit in with the atmosphere of the mission.

Difficulty: 8/10

Here is where it gets a wee-bit tricky. Since I detested the fact that you had to complete the entire mission in order to save, I'll subtract 2 points from 10. Many times I've gotten to the very end, and would screw up majorly to be sniped in the head, or fried to a crisp by a reaper. Base building is very fun, but if you screw up near the end, you gotta do the WHooollle thing over again, although you'll still have the buildings (which is a PLUS). Otherwise the difficulty was just fine. Wade into combat carelessly, and you'll die almost immediately. Plan and execute, and you'll be just fine. I happen to like that system of combat, so... 8/10.

Storyline: 10/10

Well constructed throughout. Humorous. Ends well. Humorous. Steadily progressive. Humorous.

Gameplay: 9.5/10

ALLMOST a 10, but definitely not a 9... I thought it was very enjoyable. Hack and slash action with Delphi, sniping and strafing with the Meccs, and... eating Smarties then crapping them out with Kabuto. Overall it is VERY fun! Only gripe about it, is the fact that you are able to run back to shops for seemingly unlimited health. Wade into battle, take damage, use a hypo, go back, get a hypo, go back into battle... very cheap, but it is slightly necessary. Spells were fun... very very fun... jet packs are good too. Overall, it was a very fun game!

Overall Rating: 10/10

Almost gave this a 9.28... but it was very fun, so I boosted it up to a 10, as a 9 just seemed like a disservice to it. I suggest that you run out and buy the game now, as you'll probably regret it if you do it later. It's a fairly lengthy game too!
