Library Catalog
In our library,users can access the library catalog (OPAC) through the library website using computers provided at each level. The OPAC enables users to search the bibliographic records and the status of library materials. Besides, users can also check their library's account using these computers.
Locker
Users can keep personal things in the locker located near to the library main entrance. There are about 400 units of locker available on first come first serve basis. Students are advised not to store valuable items in lockers. The library will not responsible for any loss to personal belonging
Wi-Fi
The entire library building is equipped with wireless internet access or Wi-F
Self Check Out Machine
This is a self-service machine whereby users do not have to queue up at the circulation counter to borrow open access books. There are 5 units of self check out machine available in the library
Book Drop
There are 3 units of book drop available for your convenience to return books in which located at the ground floor of Library Building, Arcade and Tun Dr Ismail Residential College. Its operating 24 hours.
Iqra' Room
The library provides 100 units of individual carrel rooms that known as Iqra' Room. These rooms are located at Level 2 and 4 and meant for those who want more privacy. Network point and electric socket are provided in this room.
24 Hours Reading Room
This room is located next to library entrance at Level 1 which is equipped with study tables, electric sockets and wireless internet access. It is available for user who wish to use this facility during or after the library's opening hours. It can accommodate up to 300 users at one time.
Closed Reference Room
This room places reference collection, closed access collection, special collection and daily newspaper. This collection is for internal use. It is located at Level 1 and can accommodate up to 140 users at one time.
Al-Jazari Auditorium
This auditorium is located at Level 3 which is equipped with a LCD projector and white screen. It can be used for screening of videos and films to facilitate learning and teaching. It can accommodate up to 150 users at one time. Reservation can be made at the circulation counter, Level 1.
Open Reading Area
Open reading area is located at Level 2, 3 and 4, and equipped with 2-4 seated tables and carrels. Electric socket and network point are also provided at certain area.
Gallery and Exhibition Area
It is located at Level 1, next to the circulation counter. User can gain information and knowledge about library facilities and services, general knowledge and current issues by visiting this area.
Information Kiosk
This kiosk is a touch screen directory that provides user with a variety of information about the library such as floor plan, rooms location, opening hours, collections, facilities, services and staff directory. It is located at Level 1
