OK
Let`s~Tube~It!
If you would like your tube smaller than your image is now, go ahead and resize it
Image/Resize/Fill in your Height & Width
I usually make my width or height 250 pixels or 350 pixels
have the keep in perspective box checked
After i resize, i like to sharpen mine, but that`s your choice...
Go to/ effects/ sharpen
Now
Go to/Edit/Copy
And now we want to create a New Image to paste our Mask into........
Go to/File/New
You want to make your new image transparant
24 bit color
And large enough for your Mask to fit into
Click/ OK
You can always crop it later if you need to
If you want to find out the size of your image
Go to/Image/Image Information
Almost Done!!!
With your new image selected
Go to/Edit/Paste/As new selection
~Center Your Selection~
If you would like a drop shadow on your tube
Leave your selection SELECTED and skip down to the part on applying drop shadows and then come back to the part on making a tube
If you don`t want to use drop shadows or any other effects
Go Ahead and Tube It!!
TO MAKE A TUBE
First you need to Deselect your image
Go to/Selections/Select None
Go to/File/Export/Picture Tube
Name Your Tube!!!
Go ahead and try it out!! And have Fun!!!
APPLYING DROP SHADOWS
Go to/ Effects/3D Effects/Drop Shadow
You can play around with the settings until you like the effect
I set mine on these settings
Vertical and Horizontal= 4
Opacity= 100
Blur= 2
color= black
Click/OK
OK...Now Deselect your image, To deselect
Go to/Selections/Select None
*NOTE* You can play around with different effects and see what you come up with
that`s half the fun!!
Just remember, you have to leave your graphic selected to use your
effects tools
Ok!
Go ahead and export as a Tube!!!
