| <~~~ BACK This week's recommendation is all about Free Will. It's brief, yet covers the basics. You'll find it at: http://www.talusmusic.com/FOW/Pages/BibleFreeWillFAQ.html Questions Q: "How did Noah get all the animals and birds of the world into the ark, including the duckbilled platypus, with food and drink needed for the duration." A: Nobody knows the complete answer to this question, because the Bible doesn't offer such details. However, there's nothing in the Bible to indicate that the animals on the arc were brought on board full-sized. In fact, it would make a lot more sense to take baby animals onboard; not only would they take up less space, but they'd eat less food. In addition, it's important to remember that "two of each kind" does not mean two of every species we have today. It's also likely that water creatures stayed in the water, and were not brought onboard the arc. Gen. 7:22 says: "Everything on dry land that had the breath of life in its nostrils died." No mention of water animals dying because of the flood is made.
