- We have started our work at Gujar-Nimbalkarwadi near Katraj, 15kms from Pune city. We came to know that due to lack of transport facilities, financial problems; residents over here are reluctant to send their children to Pune for education and Medical facility is also not available nearby.

- We started a primary school named "Sumati Balwan" in June 2001. The school is with a touch of difference. The endeavor is to provide the children with good education while playing-dancing-singing and unfolding their latent talents. Hence we have started classical dance, Yoga, Tabla and Karate classes. Very recently we got the Government recognition but without any aid or grant.

- Majority of the children cannot afford to pay even our token fees. There are 100 children studying in KG to X standard.

- We have purchased one acre of land for the school building and have started the construction. First phase of construction is over. .

- At present there are 9 destitute children of different age groups of which 4 are girls and 5 are boys. All the facilities are free for them.

- We also provide medical facilities. We have an operation theatre and an indoor facility. The caesarean section operation is performed free of all costs on needy patients. Dr.Sharyu Ghole provides free medical service.

- We have honored the good work of the people who have devoted their time and money for the welfare of the injured birds and animals; by giving them cash award of Rs. 10,000/- in memory of Shri Param-Poojya Maheshwaranand Saraswati, as appreciation of their kind service towards the mute creatures.
