Mary and Doug
October 9 2004
Their Wedding Day
Our guests were asked to hold their flash until after the ceremony so the photographer could do her work.  As a result, what we have right now are pictures after the ceremony until after the professional pics are developed.
All I have posted here are these four, but will add more as they are sent to me, hopefully within just a few days.

THE WEDDING PARTY

Top row: Ushers from left - Joseph, James and Michael (Mary's brothers)
Middle Row: Groomsman-Jeremy , Matron of Honor- Jeanie (Mary's sister)  , Mary, Doug, Best Man- Dallas , Groomsman-Daniel
All of Dougs groomsmen were his brothers.
Bottom Row - Jocy (Mary's niece), Aubry, Aurora (neice), Steven (nephew), Emily, Jac (neice) and Sarah (Mary's sister)
All of Mary's attendants were her sisters.

Cuttin' the Cake and a toast with Sparkling Juice
The cake was so beautiful, and this picture does not do it justice.  The lady put plum colored flowers between layers and the ivy intwined on the cake stand went very well with it.
On the sides of the cake you will see some gold colored frosting.  Those are "wheat" that she "drew" onto the cake.  We are in the high plains and the farming community is a vital part of the economy in these parts
She makes, by far, THE BEST wedding cake we've every had.  She's baked for us before.
Lou got some shots, eh?  :-)
These are the Burnum fellows, Douglas, Dallas, Jeremy and Daniel. They had no sisters.  Four fine young men that their parents are indeed proud of.
Daniel, Dougs brother on the far right, came to pick up Mary Beth and a couple of the girls that morning.  As he and his wife walked into our home (they were married this summer), I made mention that before the day was over there would be another Burnum.  He calmly remarked, "We're collecting them"
To the far left you can see our pastor, Kenneth Lampp, who officiated along with the Burnums pastor Nathan Gift.
Look at that happy groom!  What  an infectious smile!
The gentleman between Mary and Doug is pastor Nathan Gift the Burnum family's pastor who officiated along with pastor Kenneth Lampp, behind Doug.
Another Mrs. Burnum

Cousins once removed, having FUN
A candle lit head table.
You can just see the harpist to the right.  She entertained us not only through the ceremony but for the rest of the evening as well
You can just catch a glimpse of the harp on the picture to the left.  Her music stand and the tallest part of her instrument.
Dalene holding Julia.  Dougs sister-in-law and niece.  Jeremy's family.
The harpist, Jane, is standing behind the instrument, it was built in 1948, and Jane is it's second owner.
Uncle Pat with some "East Coast Russells"
What a ride, huh?  Patrick and Katie getting ready to go.
A happy couple
Her gown is beautifully encrusted, and purchased at an extremely discounted price (new) on e-bay from a lady that is known as "humbride."
Patrick, Aurora, Katie and Steven
Jacqueline, Sarah and Joceline
Some of our gang
Mary's big brother and his family
I've cut and pasted the programs below.  Since there is not a tool for "columns" it does not show it here.  It opened up and I think you can get the general picture.
The last couple of days the reception was moved to the fellowship hall of the church where the wedding took place and it turned out very fine.
I've just now typed in the song titles that were sung.
