The van stopped at the gate when the gate opened and the van moved down the driveway. The van stopped at the stairs of a large house, with ivy crawling up the walls, when five females came out and Xander got out of the van. The red hair female walked to him as he smiled and she walked with him to the back door of the van. This was Willow Rosenberg. " Is it true!? Is he really alive!? ", Willow asked when the back door opened and Faith and Buffy got the gurney out. Willow looked down when she saw Spike sound asleep and she felt the tears in her eyes. " Hey, Red, move, hunh, he's heavy! ", Faith said when she got out of the way and they headed up the stairs. They all went inside when Buffy and Faith carried the gurney up the stairs, down the hallway, and into one of the bedrooms. Buffy carefully picked Spike up when Willow moved the covers back and Buffy placed Spike down. Willow covered him up while Buffy sat on the bed and stroked his hair. " So, what do we do with him? ", Willow asked when Spike sighed and slowly opened his eyes. He blinked when he looked up at Buffy and she kissed his hair. " Where are we now? ", Spike asked then looked at Willow and she smiled at him. " You're home. This is Willow. ". " Hello. Do you know me, too? ". " Sure, I do. What is he talking about? ", Willow asked as Buffy took the instructions and bottle out and placed them on the night stand " Spike can't remember anything. Not even who he is. ". " What's that for? ", Willow asked as she pointed at the bottle and Buffy sat back on the bed. " His seizures. ". " Seizures!? From what? ". " His brain damage. Look, Will, enough with the questions. I'll talk to all of you later. Can you just go? ", Buffy said when Willow and Faith left the room and Buffy looked at Spike. She picked up his hand when she laid against him and he breathed softly in her ear. " Is this your place? ". " In a way. See, I run this, well, school for girls. ". " You're a teacher? ". " In a way. ". " What do I do here? ". " You're sorta like a coach. You help me. ". " Ohhhhhhhhhhh! ", Spike said as she smiled and he played with her hair. His heart thumped along as she looked at him and he smiled at her, " Is this my room? ". " No. You don't have one. I opened this place after you..After you.. ", Buffy said as he saw the tears in her eyes and gently wiped her eyes. " After I went away? ". Buffy nodded when she started crying and felt every ounce of pain she felt since he " died " flow through her. He held her as she cried then sniffed and sat up. Buffy wiped her eyes when he tried to sit up and felt dizzy. She laid him back down as he sighed and she placed her hand on his chest. His heart pounded against her hand as he smiled and she sighed. " Sorry. ". Buffy nodded when the door opened and Robin Woods walked inside. Buffy knew that he was mad as he walked closer and looked at Spike. Spike looked at him when Buffy got up and walked to Robin. " I don't believe this! Can he stay dead!? ", Robin shouted when Buffy pushed him to the door and slammed it shut after pushing Robin out of the door. Buffy walked back to the bed as he sat up and the room spun around. He sighed then shook his head as she sat on the bed and he looked at her. " What did he mean by that!? ", Spike asked as she hushed him and he pouted. " He's just upset. Look, are you hungry? ". " Yeah. ". " Ok. You just lay here and I'll be right back! ", Buffy said when she kissed his soft lips and he smiled. She ruffled his hair when he sighed and she left locking the door behind her. She walked down the hallway when she saw Robin and slammed him into the wall lifting him slightly off the floor. " You leave him alone! Got me!? ", Buffy said then let Robin down and walked down the hallway. -------------------------------- The others sat around the main room as Buffy looked at them and she had explained everything she knew. Willow asked her for the necklace as she looked at it and sighed. " I think one of the oracles I met might give us some light on this thing. I'll ask her to come over tomorrow. ". " Good. ". " What do you want us to do, Buffy? ", Kennedy asked and Buffy looked at her. " Just do what we're doing. Maybe going up and introducing yourself to him one at a time. You have to remember that he doesn't remember any of us and we'll have to help him. ". " Why couldn't he just stay dead? ", Robin growled as Buffy glared at him and Robin looked at the floor. " So, I suggest we go to bed because we have work to do. ", Buffy said as she walked up the stairs and headed for the room. She opened the door when she walked to the bed and looked at Spike. He was asleep when she got undressed and crawled under the covers with him. Buffy laid her head against him as he breathed in her ear and she moved her fingers along his soft skin. She closed her eyes as she went to sleep and he smiled. --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- She was in the white room. Spike slept next to her as she looked out the window and saw Angel pacing in his office. She felt anger and hate for him when she felt Spike touch her hand and she looked down. He looked at her when she laid against him and his heart thumped in her ear. " Woods' really pissed at me. ". " Can you blame him? You killed his mother. ". " I know. So, how am I doing? ". " Ok. The seizures are under control. ". " That's good. ", Spike said as she snuggled closer and he looked up at the window. " He won't stop, Pet, he's hell bent on getting me back. ". " He has to find you first. ". " True. ", Spike said when she crawled on top of him and he looked at her. She kissed him when he reached for her and she nuzzled his neck. --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- -------------- Buffy woke with a start when she felt him shaking and sat up. She turned the lights on as he shook and she reached over and took the bottle in her hand. A glass of water was next to it when she took out two pills and placed them in his mouth. She helped him drink when she laid him down and he sighed. She brushed the hair from his eyes when he smiled but didn't wake up. She laid down as she listened to his heart pounding and stroked his chest. " Sorry about that. ", Buffy said with a smile as she closed her eyes and went to sleep. --------------------------------------- Angel sat at the desk when he checked the reports from the airports but there was no sign of Spike or Buffy and he growled. He reread the reports when he stormed out of his office and headed for the elevator. The doors opened when he walked along the lobby and Eve stood by the front door. " The clock is ticking, Angel, you better hurry! ". " I'll find him! ", Angel said when he stormed out of the building and into the night.
