| Day One: Driving down the coast... |
| I took the day off from school on my birthday (having a job with vacation time is so sweet!) and we drove down Hwy 101 to Newport, OR and The Sylvia Beach Hotel, one of my favorite places on earth. |
| As you can see, we had perfect weather, and stopped several times to enjoy the views. We also made our apparently annual pilgrimage to Mark's favorite place on earth- the Tillamook Cheese Factory. |
| I don't think I will ever get tired of the trees on rocks thing that occurs off the coast up here. |
| We made it just in time for the sunset. |
