with december came much needed winter holidays from school, and i packed up my bathing suits and headed home to hawaii for 3 weeks. it was so great to be able to eavesdrop on people, after 5 months of just tuning out background voices i didn't understand. =) and reading signs? amazing! this picture was taken at sea life park near makapuu.
