new years 2000

my only new year's tradition is to watch the sunrise on dec. 31st.  this year, morgan, deegan (my friend from LA who was visiting) and i hiked to the makapuu lighthouse.  as you can see, it was incredible.

my mom and step dad, and me and morgan after dressing for the 'big night'.  after watching the rest of the world celebrate the new millenium without any problems, the pressure was off, as far as having the best time of our lives. =)

after dinner with the 'rents, we headed down to the ala wai harbor for a party with some friends. l-r: me, deegan, megan, elizabeth, greg.  front: micah.  taken at midnight, on waikiki beach, right before morgan, deegan, elizabeth and i figured it would be a great idea to go into the ocean, clothed. =)

on the boat.  clockwise from bottom left: elizabeth, megan, me, teeshia and deegan.  high spirits before we walked over to this 'rave' being promoted by the BBC (yes, that BBC) hours later (and much more sober) we caught a limo cab back, rather than walk the 2 miles again.
