Marissa was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She once sad that her and Shane grew up across the street from each other and that is how they met. They have been together since high school and she even went to the prom with him. On September 14, 1996 Marissa and Shane were married on the McMahon estate.
A while ago, Marissa used to work as a publicist for what was formerly known as WWF. Marissa also hosted Live wire with Michael Cole and Coach. She even got the chance to interview Arnold Schwarzenegger on SmackDown! Marissa soon left WWE in 2001 to go pursue her original dream. She had a small cameo in �The Scorpion King� as a bird merchant. Marissa and Shane are currently living in New York, where they have a dog. It was recently announced that Marissa is expecting the couples first child due in February of 2004.
