Linda McMahon, formerly known as Linda Edwards was born and raised in Havelock, North Carolina. It is known that she was raised with strict moral values by Evelyn and Henry Edwards. She attended church every Sunday and sang in the choir. This is where she met Vince McMahon at the age of 13. The two were introduce by Vince�s mother and had only a 3-year age difference. Linda graduated from high school in 1966 where she then went with Vince to East Carolina University. On August 6 of that same year, Vince and Linda were married, Linda being only 17 years old. Linda then graduated from East Carolina University in 1969. She received a BA degree in French and a minor in Spanish. Interestingly enough, it was the day before Vince and Linda received their diplomas, Linda found that she was pregnant with Shane. The couple move to Gaithersburg, Maryland where Linda worked as a paralegal with a small law firm. Shane was born on January 15, 1970. Two years later they all moved to New Britain, Connecticut where Vince was out working for as much as 6 days a week while Linda looked after Shane. Four years later Stephanie was born in Hartford, Connecticut.
In 1979, Vince and Linda McMahon purchased Cape Cod Coliseum, located in Massachusetts, and Titan Sports was formed. In 1982, Vince and Linda McMahon�s dreams came true when they bought Capital Wresting Corporation from Vince McMahon Sr. for one million dollars. They renamed it the World Wresting Federation and Linda McMahon became the CEO. The following year, Linda and her family move to Greenwich, Connecticut, where she and Vince are currently living right now. On March 23, 2001 Vince and Linda Bought their competition, World Championship Wrestling. In 2002, the World Wresting Federation, had to change its name to World Wresting Entertainment after loosing a court battle with those bastards at the World Wildlife Fund. As you can see, Linda has done a lot to contribute to her company. However many say that her biggest contribution to the company isn�t her business sense, but instead her heart.
