If You're Ever Going To Love Me

If you're ever going to love me live me now while i can know
All the sweet and tender feelings real affection flow.
Love me now, while I am living; do not wait till I am gone
And then chisel it in marble-warm love words on ice-cold stone.
If you've dear sweet thoughts about me, why not whisper them to me?
Don't you know 'tould make me happy  and glad as glad could be?
If you wait till I am sleeping, ne'er to waken here again,
There'll be walls of earth between us and I couldn't hear you then.
If you knew someone was thirsting for a drop of water sweet,
Would you be so slow to bring it? Would you step with laggard feet?
There are tender hearts all round us who are thirsting for our love;
Why withhold from them what nature makes them crave all else above?
I wonn't need your kind caresses when the grass grows o'er my face;
I won't crave you love or kisses in my last low resting place.
So, then, if you love me any, if it's but a little bit,
Let me know it now while living; I can won and treasure it.

Falling In And Out Of Love
by Rose

When I say I love you I do
But this with you will not do
I need someone I can lean on
Someone I can count on too

Yes you are there sometimes
For that I am grateful to you
But I need someone there full time
And that you can not do

You told me once you loved me
That I could believe in you
I was there when you needed someone
Where were you when I needed someone, too?

The time has come for me to let go
Never to expect you to care again
People may come and people may go
But my love will never end
You and I

My hand is lonley for you clasping, dear,
my ear is tired waiting for your call
I want your strength to help, your laugh to cheer
Heart, soul and senses need you, one and all
I droop without your full frank sympathy,
we ought to be together-you and I;
We want each other so, to comprehend
the dream, the hope, things planned , or seen or wrought.
Companion, comforter and guide and friend,
As much as love asks love, does thought ask thought
Life is so short, so fast the lone hours fly,
We ought to be together, you and I.
