Thank you for so much,
for making me smile
after such a long time
for making me dream
when i loose sight of what is importaint
for making me laugh
for laughter keeps us healthy
for showing compassion
in a world of lonliness
for showing love
in an empty world filled with war and hate
but thank you most for just being you
because I love you
now and always!

     that smiles on a rainy day
the silly you
     that laughs at the crazy
     stuff I do
the fun you
     that creates new ways to
     be close
the sometimes disagreeable you
     that always thinks of me each
     night before you sleep
the sleeping you in the night
     that looks like an angel
the spontanious you that
     calls me any hour of the day
the laughing you
     that laughs at my silly jokes
the dreamer you
     that dreams my dreams with me
the passionate you
     that the water from a thousand
     oceans could not quench
    and the fire that burns within
the honest you
    that tells me all his secrets
the playful you that
    wrestles in the yard or bed
the loving you
    that makes me want you as
    my husband

thank you for just being you my darling
for I love you now and always
