Elder and Clergy

Rev. Lady Talyn Moonis your typical modern day witch.  She has a full time job, and a family.  She is also one of the founders of the Shamans coven, an ordained Reverend, Elder, Council Member, author of our original Bylaws, and High Priestess with over 20 years of practical experience in Witchcraft and its many forms.  She is a staunch supporter of Pagan Rights. She offers private study and Clergy services to the public as well as supervising the education of her fellow coven members.  In her spare time, she enjoys down home southern cooking (much to the enjoyment of her family), writing (she is co-author on a series of books hopefully to be published in in the near future), sewing, music, and reading. No, she is not superwoman. She is a typical Aries, Type A personality, who believes that you have to play just as hard as you work if you want to get everything out of life. Her students don't call her Drill Sergeant for nothing. <grin> She lives a full magickal life and shares herself with those around her. Special talents:  tarot cards, healings, teacher, mentor, ordained clergy, spell designer, seamstress. She currently resides in West Virginia.

Lady SilverHawk Moon: International Pagan Pride Day Southern Regional Coordinator and Co-coordinator of the Boone High Country Pagan Pride Day. Former co-coordinator (2002, 2003 & 2006) of the Charlotte Metro Pagan Pride Day.  A First degree witch and a 43 year old mother of 2 boys.  Elder and founding member of the Shamans coven. Descendant of the Native Americans, Irish and Scottish. If one of us can talk to the animals she is it! She belongs to 1 python, 1 Senagal, 4 dogs, and 4 cats.  Enjoys making Native American crafts and listening to Celtic music. She enjoys doing astrological readings, tarot (medicine) card readings, and candle magick. Prefers to work with herbs and stones when doing magickal work - believing it puts you in closer touch with the Mother Earth. She has an acute  psychic ability to see upcoming events, and outcomes to problems. She enjoys in her free time (or whenever she is not working or trying to be supermom): hiking, camping, reading, and sleeping. She is a major football fan and a forever faithful Earnhardt fan. Is considered the Xena of the coven - just ask her to do her yell. She currently resides in Garner NC, in the Triangle area of North Carolina. She is completed her degree at Gaston College in Veterinary Technology and currently works at the NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine - Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Small Animal Emergency Services. Her dream job is of course working with wolves and bears!
