International (P.) Ltd. (SCI) was established in May 1992, with the aim of
providing specialized consulting services to individuals as well as national and
international governmental and non-governmental organizations involved in various
sectors of the development activities of Nepal and its neighboring countries. At present,
the firm offers these services in various branches of civil engineering, hydropower, water
resources and alternative energy resources planning and development, electrical
engineering, mechanical engineering, communication engineering, architecture and
landscape architecture, town planning and development, interior design, property survey
and valuation, management, techno-economic studies, statistical analysis, computer-aided
design and drafting, numerical modeling, MIS/GIS, computerized data visualization and
customized software development.
In order
to attain its objective of rendering expert consulting services, SCI
employs a select group of highly experienced and qualified personnel specializing in
various sectors. The senior personnel of SCI are pioneers of Nepal in the field of
hydropower, water resources and alternative energy resources planning and development. In
their long and illustrious careers with His Majesty’s Government of Nepal (HMG/N),
these personnel have held very senior positions in various organizations concerned with
their fields of specialization. To complement the experience and knowledge of these
personnel, SCI has experts who have received advanced education, training and experience
in modern design concepts in countries such as Canada, U.S.A., U.K., India, etc. These
experts use the state-of-the-art technology and modern equipment to incorporate these
concepts into efficient and economical planning and design.
The full-time
professional staff at SCI has access to expert advice from a panel of
internationally renowned experts drawn from different walks of life. SCI
also has access to the full time or part time services of a large number of resource
personnel belonging to different technical fields. The firm has adequate technical and

these projects, SCI has won wide acclaim for its performance.
