Turn Down The Bass
The Turn Down the BASS! EP was recorded August 3rd, 1997, in the preschool room of the Jamestown Christian Church in Jamestown, IN. Shag Bark Hickory's previous tape, Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman, and Me (which has been banned from all public consumption by the band), was also recorded here, and the results of the August 3rd recording session were expected to be just as disastrous. They weren't, though, and Turn Down the BASS! marks a return to form for Shag Bark Hickory after slipping into an oblivion from which none expected them to escape.
