The Nightelves are the true race of might.  They have a good rush with huntresses great spells on HEROS such as starfall and the most useful buildings out of all the races. The Nightelven archer is a good ranged unit. She can blend into the background (go invisable) and has an upgrade on range and damage.  This unit is good at the start of the game but  not recommended later on
this is the nightelven siege unit. It has both high range and high attack vs buildings. Only good for clearing defencive structures and hitting heros.  The glaive thrower can upgrade its ability to attack trees.
Ahh the huntress, this single unit got me to level 6 on Bnet. yes a great rusher this unit is. This unit although strong vs most other units will lose vsing rifleman or head hunters. Mastery of this unti is very important.

The main nightelven caster. This units first spell is so damn effective I believe that it really doesnt need to upgrade its training. (xcept mana)  Also this unit can transform into a  bird which has a great attack on air.
The Chimera is actually a siege unit.  It is able to take out heros and weak units (anything on the ground) during battles aswell as destroy buildings without taking hits.  A powerful unit indeed. Let the Driads mass and victory will follow.  So far i have only encountered one unit that can beet driads and this unit is the ORC wyvern.  With poison attack and an ability that destroys buffs from your enemy the driads are a force any good nightelf player will know and use. I have not used this unit on Bnet yet and frankly im not sure it has anything special.  Sure it can destroy mana from enemy units and damage them in the process but this wont make up for a lack of life and attack.

The mountain giant is a very massive and strong unit. Very sueful to take damage and run these giants can withstand  any type of ranged  attack. Very useful in defencive positions.  Taunt is useful to divert attacks but is not very efective vs a good player.
The hipogryph is good at taking out air.  It has a powerful attack and a bonus of it being able to take the same upgrades as the huntress and archer (tier 1 units). Team the hippogryph with an archer and youve got this hippogryphrider an elite ranged unit that now can attack ground units with piercing attacks.  I haven used this unit much yet so i will say more when i find its weaknesess/strengths.
The druid of the claw is without any upgrades a benificial part of any nightelven army.  With an ability known as ROAR that rises the attack of allied units the druid of the claw is quite essential.  Can transform into bear form and has raised attack.
OWL SCOUT
ENT (TREANT) WISP
This Owlscout can be very useful to scout your enemy.  It cannot  attack but is still useful.  Summoned by the Priestess and lasts longer with higher levels.
Summoned by the Keeper of the Grove these Ents can take many hits and deal good damge in combat.  Although just summons they are fierce and are created (summoned) in groups of up to four.  A single player can have 8 of these summnos at once.
The wisp is the main creator of nightelves.  Some say they are the dead spirits of past nightelves.  The wisps can detonate to destroy summons and consume 50 mana of nearby units.
