Jack Hodges has shown himself to be a valuable addition to the Royal Family.  After his rescue, he found that he had mental powers!  It took him a long time to focus them to the point that they are at now.  Even so, because the powers were a result of experiments and tests, he doesn't know how to use the mental powers the way they were intended.  Becuase the experiments were not fully completed, Jack must focus more then the mental agents that Project: Genesis produces now, and as such, it puts a greater strain on Jack.  Jack is very protective of the Royal Family, a bit more so then any other member (possibly except
King).  However, Jack is not very fond of Trump.  Jack only puts up with Trump for Ace's sake.  Jack respects Trumps's immense physical strength, but as Jack's trademark saying goes:

"It's a simple equasion of mind over matter.  When I use my mind, you no longer matter!"
