A large book was pressed into Inuyashas face, titled Partying for Dummies.
I am not a dummy! he stated.
I am going to use this book and my . . . helpers . . . to train you and your monkey business, said Kagome pointing at Inuyasha, who looked rather annoyed.
The group looked very odd, with all of their party hats and streamers. They looked like they were a 2 year-old-birthday party mistake. Sango had a bored expression on her face, Miroku looked at Kagome as if she was kidding, and Shippou had taken the book from Inuyasha and was reading it rather excitedly.
So. . . started Inuyasha, pulling the book off his face, You want me to go to a party. . . .What is a party?
A party is a . . . .ummmm. . . . Get-together. Explained Kagome, very sure of his response.
WITH HUMANS?!?!?!?! he bellowed, looking rather disturbed at the thought.
Well . . .yes. she admitted in a small voice.
Ooh! Ooh! Can I go? exclaimed Shippou, jumping up and down.
Ummmm. . . said Kagome, I can only take Inuyasha because he is the only one who can get through the well.
Im not going, the hanyou stated firmly.
Yes. You. Are, said Kagome through gritted teeth.
Since when? he asked, folding his arms and looking away, similar to a child taking very nasty cough medicine.
Kagome sighed, Sit boy! and that was the end of the discussion.
Alright, alright, confessed Inuyasha with his face in the dirt.
A little while later . . .
Okay! started Shippou, reading from the Partying for Dummies book. The first topic is attitude and body language.
Lets have a role play, suggested Kagome, motioning to Sango and Miroku.
Sango sighed and looked up at Kagome with pleading eyes. Miroku, on the other hand, looked excitedly around as if a surprise clown was going to pop out and give him a million dollars (A/N: Man, does this author have a weird way of describing).
Sango, you stand there, and Miroku, you walk up to her. . . instructed Kagome, determined that nothing would go wrong. Although Kagome was well unaware of this terrible mistake that she had just made. |
