Grazing Paddocks
ShadowLane Stables currently has many out door grazing paddocks which any horse is welcome to. All horses/ponies are turned out everyday in groups of 2-4 or individual depending on their temper. Some paddocks are especially equiped with large rain shelters and lots of running room. Shade, water, and grazing grass, is offered between the paddocks.
Riding Facilities
ShadowLane Stables offers a large sand paddock equipt with adjustable jumps and even footing. For winter an indoor arena is used. Attached to the indoor arena is a spacy heated tack room with a pop machine, refridgerator, microwave, and sitting area with large glass window over looking the indoor riding arena.
Our Barn
We provide a large 14 box stall barn with a wide aisle way and rubber mats supporting the concret floor. Each stall is beded and cleaned on a daily basis. Wood shavings are supplied with in the monthly boarding fee. Each horse has its own set of cross ties in the aisle way and the barn is very well lit! There is also a large shed filled with stalls, large aisle, and lots of overhead lighting, when needed for the extra space.
The Lesson Program
From beginners to experienced every one is welcome! Helmets, brushes, tack, and a schooling horse/ponie is provided for one hour lessons. Recently introduced to ShadowLane Stables was a Adult Lesson Only day every Thursday. If you have always wanted to take up horse back riding but never had the opertunity, now you do! Come on out every Thursday night at 7:00pm for a half hour of fun. Every one is welcome!
ShadowLane Spring/Fall Shows
Every spring and fall Shadow Lane Stables hosts an annual schooling show for all of the stable's students. This show consists of begginer to intermediate jumping/hacking events. This is a great way to interact with other members of the barn and show off your riding ability. Small prizes are rewared to the top riders and ribbons are provided.
ShadowLane Camps!
Every summer and March Break, Shadowlane offers an all day kids ridding camp. Campers enjoy lots of crafts and games, and of corse lots of hores back riding. This is a great way to get farmiliar with horses, and the daily work that takes place on a farm. Any horse experience is is welcome.
