own natural methods of picking up the
manifestation or communication?
The senses that pick up on spirit manifestation are commonly called the psychic senses, therefore the deal with the conscious mind abilities to detect the subconscious, or our deep levels of consciousness. These deep levels of consciousness are the realms of our own spirit within our bodies. Our spirit is aware of the goings on around it, but may not necessarily understand everything on various levels. There is the deepest level where the spirit sees all things, the astral or otherworld reality around it. It takes a great deal of mental openness and concentration to contact our own spirits that see the things around us. When we get to where we can contact and know, understand, this part of ourselves, then our learning process to strengthen our awareness can truly begin. This is the state where we will receive the most knowledge and growth. We can learn to become aware without this contact, but the ultimate reality cannot be contacted until we contact the ultimate reality of ourselves, our own spirit.
Spirits manifest through contact with our Minds on all levels, therefore being able to adjust our vision for us to see them. They don't exactly do it themselves, but when they make us aware of their presence, our natural instincts take over, opening our awareness. It is up to us to keep it open or block it off with our conscious minds. This is how we become UNAWARE. It is the same process that we all went through growing up, the debates on what is and is not reality, what we saw then and what we now think it was after years of analyzation and being told that what we saw was our imaginations! Children are usually the first to see things as they are in the world, it's adults who discourage it as imagination alone. This is the major block to our awareness. If we could see through the eyes of a child, we'd all have perfect vision!
5. Does the spirit change after death occurs and they
give up their body?
This all depends on the situation that they died in. There is the transformation from being a physical being to becoming a pure spirit. Beyond that, it is a very personal thing, depending on mindset, spiritual state, beliefs, etc.
6. What occurs during dreams and how is that related
to the world of spirit?
Dreams have different levels of functioning. One main level is that of the subconscious mind sorting out all the daily occurrences, feeling that extended from those everyday thing, thoughts, fears, etc. Like an organizing process. Deeper levels of the realm of dreams connects to the world of spirit, like in out of body experiences where we leave our bodies and temporarily become spirit ourselves. We then experience the astral realities around us, including communications. Our conscious minds and dreams have very little to do with this except in the way our mind perceives that reality around us. We then have to interoperate our own thoughts to determine what really happened when we awake. This is not saying that our personal thoughts interfered with this reality, it is only the way we perceive things around us.
7. What are the spirits ways of contacting the living?
Sometimes they do it by any means that our conscious minds will allow, if one for a few seconds. They can turn TV's on and off, flicker lights or turn them on and off, they can switch channels on the TV or satellite (More on this in another article), they can mess with the phone, and yes, make phone calls (they love being the phone prankster sometimes :~) ). They can suddenly appear in front of us or in the shadows. They can make their voices audible. They can become just as solid and visible and me and you, if only for a short while. They can move things .... They can effect any physical object just like us. They are as me and you are, only in a differing form, they are pure energy and us flesh. that energy serves as flesh. It is just as physical and as solid as they will it to be.
The best thing that we can do when confronted with this question is ask ourselves: "What can we do?" they can do the same and more. They are in a more mobile and free state than we are, as we are condensed energy at all times except when out of body.
8. Should I listen to all those legends, rumors, and
hearsay from other religions and researchers that
do not claim the reality of psychic occurrence or
that have specific guidelines when dealing with
spirits of all kinds?
A basic rule here as with any kind of investigation or gaining of knowledge is: Get as much information as possible from all sides. Some religions or philosophies do not leave room for unbiased judgment. I am not downing any religion or preference of belief here. Being who I am, I have to be INFORMED. So does anyone who deals with the paranormal or is a serious seeker of knowledge. No one or belief system, or any one religion can claim ultimate truth. That isn't in the realm of logic. The world of spirit is a very logical one. It operates as we do, upon natural laws. Now, these natural laws may not be what our conscious "learned" minds expect. No one knows ALL natural law. That is in God's realm. I saw a bumper sticker once that said "God is not a name, It is a JOB DESCRIPTION"! that hits more to the point than any religion. The fact is, everything around us, including the world of sprits, is within the natural order, or else it wouldn't exist. True sprits are not man made, but they can be created. (More on this in an upcoming Aritcle :~) ). The basic assumption is that everything operates by natural laws, even if those laws be hidden from our sight or knowledge.
