That Sunday the three of us decided to take a trip to Troodos and Kakopetria. The day was sunny and pretty hot, so we drove all the way to Kakopetria without our T-shirts on. We got a very nice tan as well. Somewhere along the way, we caught up with a party of three other chopper motorbikes, headed for Kakopetria, so we drove along, 6 motorbikes altogether crusing down the road. Fantastic! |

The plan was to eat Ofton Kleftiko at Troodos Square and then head down to Kakopetria and hang out at a local cafe for a frappe or milkshake (my personal favourite is Chocolate milkshake). After finishing our lunch, I spotted the horse rides and persuaded my buddies to go for a ride. When I was younger, around 10 years old, I took horseback riding lesson at Lapatsa and this was a good opportunity to refresh my riding skills after so many years. The others had no idea on how to ride horses however, so they were guided around the trail by the tour guide. I was given a very nasty horse which I rode alone, trying to control it from running too fast on its own. |

|
Horses are wonderful and magnificent animals whose grace is undispuded. They can offer much to humans and demand very few, our love and respect. I've always loved horses since I can remember and I'm planning to start riding again very soon. |
